Is it possible to walk to the bottom of the Great Wall and look up or is the view obstructed by the trees? Is the view from the northern car park the best option? Maybe the Apron Trail?

I don’t know. I know that you climb up the face so there must be a way to see it. It is quite impressive right from the highway.
