No reservations needed. There is a lot to do there. Check the website and see what is most important to you. We were there in January and it was raining so we didn't get to do as much as we wanted. Don't forget to have the Dole Whip. It was the best, better than the Disney one.
Has anyone tried to commute using public vehicle such as bus to Dole Plantation? How far the bus station from the Dole entrance gate? Appreciate your response.

There are two local buses that stop right at the Plantation. Check the Dole Plantation website under "resources" and it directs you to the proper bus routes and numbers. Enjoy!
