Family members and I went to see Gino Vanelli last Friday night at this venue. The acoustics were horrible with sound echos that failed to showcase the full range of Gino's awesome voice. Although we…Full review by Deborah B

We just love the Saban Theatre. Located in Beverly Hills, there are several nice places to dine before a show. The Saban is an old movie house and has been completely restored to its art deco heyday.…Full review by elizabethlascheid

The Saban Theatre is a beautiful 1930s Art Deco building that is a historic landmark. It has concerts and more. The beauty of this place alone is worth seeing. George Vreeland HillFull review by GeorgeVreelandHill
A ticket agency is selling tickets for an upcoming concert at the Saban. They are advertising the tickets as General Admission "Standing Room Only". Does the Saban have any "standing room"? I thought there was only seating. Could someone please confirm?
A:
General Admission tickets get seated in the upper balcony rather than ground level. The are all seats no standing
Can you get food in the theater? With general admission seats, if you arrive 1.5-2 hours before an 8pm show, you'll be starving/will miss dinner.
A:
There is only a small stand for snacks like the kind they sell at movie theaters. And cash only. Best to eat at a close-by restaurant, perhaps Tutt' a Post' Trattoria.
Does anyone have experience with the general admission seating? Concert info states doors open at 6:00, but concert starts at 9:00. I assume there's an opening act, but didn't want to spend 3 hrs just sitting in seats. Any advice or info appreciated!

smithjlr, you have a question about the general admission seating at the Saban Theatre. When I have gone there I have always had a seat that I selected via the ticket purchase. If it is first come, first serve as for seat selection, then I would be early rather than closed to time. You can call the theatre box office to find out what time the first group starts. I always get there about 1 1/2 hours before show so I can get in without major wait, grab a drink and beat the rush. Hope that helps. Plus, you need to get there in time to find good parking. Right around the corner from venue is a parking garage. Safe with attendant. 10$ opens at 4:30.
The parking is on the side street (left side to the rght) of the block the Sabban is on. Around 4:30 they put a sign out on whilshire saying "Theatre Parking". It is 10$ for till 1am. …
The parking is on the side street (left side to the rght) of the block the Sabban is on. Around 4:30 they put a sign out on whilshire saying "Theatre Parking". It is 10$ for till 1am. So wee parked and walked to dinner, cocktails then back to the concert. Parking is secure and has attendant on duty. All other plaaces were too much or just plain shady.
