Museum far too expensive (don't waste your money) and lacking in displays/information. One can see everything from the cafe. Visited many wonderful museums in NZ and this would have been the worst. Full review by Gary F

Museum far too expensive for what it is. Shop sells mementos of one's visit to Mount Cook, most of which appears to be made in China! Full review by martincS2512NK

Hi, I'm planning to visit New Zealand for the first time and I think I will be on South Island between Earth Day and Astronomy Day (22 to 29 April 2017). Which is the best road to drive in the dark sky reserve if I want to observe the night skies on a road trip from Abel Tasman National Park to Queenstown?
A:
I agree with Debra , down the middle of the South Island. The astronomy tour at Tekapo was amazing - worth the cost.
