We can't recall seeing a gift shop per se, but Starbucks had some memorabilia, and your other option would be the train station

We walked from the children’s museum to the Harriet Tubman monument and it was ok. Took about 20 minutes or so stopping to take a few pictures along the way. Better probably in the late spring and summer as there wasn’t much to do/see in early April when we went. Along the river walk there is a map that shows you how far to walk.

If you start at the Wilmington Train Station, you will find a number of venues situated on the Riverwalk, where you can have lunch and then walk along the path in both directions. Enjoy watching the Walnut Street Bridge open to allow passage of the famous Swedish sailing ship!

We stayed at the Hotel Dupont when they offered a very good special. There were other hotels in the general area, but I cannot remember which ones they were.
