Avalanche left winger Gabriel Landeskog explained his thought process amid a long and tough recovery from his injury.

The Avs GM acknowledged the uncertainty surrounding Landeskog’s recovery from a right knee injury, stating that while the 32-year-old continues to work toward a comeback, no clear timeline exists, painting a murky future. “I think you guys can figure out where this is kind of going," MacFarland said. “Hopefully, it’ll keep going well.”

Chris MacFarland has tinkered with his roster plenty, but the Avs don’t appear to be adding the captain to it anytime soon.
