PAUL - The Minnesota Wild announced on Monday that they have placed defenseman Jared Spurgeon on the Injured Reserve list. Spurgeon, 35, suffered a lower-body injury against the Nashville Predators after Zachary L'Heureux slew-footed him.

As expected, the Minnesota Wild have placed defenseman and captain Jared Spurgeon on injured reserve considering he’s likely to miss the next two to three weeks with a lower-body injury.

ST. PAUL - According to the NHL Media Site, the Minnesota Wild have placed star forward Kirill Kaprizov on the Injured Reserve List (IR). The team has not made an announcement yet. This is retroactive to his injury before the break so the Wild could activate Kaprizov before their game on Thursday. But that isn't likely.
