Delegates from Kyiv and Washington intend to meet in Saudi Arabia and discuss positions to take in potential peace talks with Russia. DW looks at the significance of the meeting and what Ukraine stands to gain from it.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine has said that his country is “fully committed” to having a constructive dialogue with US representatives in Saudi Arabia. The meeting is scheduled to hold next week as countries seek ways to end the war with Russia.
