The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) will seek the death penalty for Sanjay Roy, the convict in the RG Kar rape and murder case. According to sources, the application may be filed in the Calcutta High Court within the next two days.

Sanjay Roy, convicted for the RG Kar hospital rape and murder case, will begin work as a gardener at Presidency Correctional Home. Initially earning a daily wage of Rs 105, he will later receive training for other skilled jobs.
