Toyota Tacoma recalled for possible brake fluid leak
The Tacoma is being recalled due to a rear brake hose that can be damaged with wear and tear over time, especially if the vehicle is used in off-road conditions and there is a build-up of mud or dirt within the rear wheels. If the brake hose is damaged, it can cause a brake fluid leak which can increase the chance of a crash.
Toyota says mud buildup can lead to damage on hundreds of thousands of Toyota Tacomas across the globe.
Dealers will replace both rear brake hoses free of charge, the NHTSA added. Toyota Motor Corp is recalling 106,061 U.S.
