Bill Belichick’s UNC deal is unofficially official. The former Patriots coach has yet to sign the five-year contract he agreed to last month to be UNC’s next head coach, CBS Sports reported on Tuesday.

"Sources tell CBS Sports — and UNC confirmed this week — that there is no fully executed and signed contract between Belichick and UNC," Jones posted on X. "And industry sources say that could lead to a legal gray area about how much, if any, of a buyout there would be if Belichick left for the pros.
