Kevin Costner will soon be back on television screens in a new Yellowstone project. No, Costner is not reprising his role as John Dutton in a “Yellowstone” prequel or spinoff from Taylor Sheridan. Instead, he’s hosting a three-part limited docuseries about Yellowstone National Park.

As Taylor Sheridan's Yellowstone TV empire expands, Kevin Costner will obviously not be a part of it. After June 2024, Costner quit the hit series forever, and his character, John Dutton, was killed off well before the show actually concluded.
