On Friday, the NHL's Department of Player Safety announced that New York Islanders forward Maxim Tsyplakov will receive a hearing for a high hit on Philadelphia Flyers forward Ryan Poehling: The hit occurred in the first period of the game when Poehling was cutting to the low slot.
