Boil Water Advisory issued for St. Bernard Parish
A boil water advisory is now in place for parts of St. Bernard Parish. The parish says a water line broke in the area -- and testing for water quality is underway. The affected areas are the First Assembly Church on Paris Road to the parish line,
St. Bernard Parish officials anticipate the parishwide boil water advisory in affect to be lifted Sunday afternoon, authorities said in a Saturday morning press release.
The parish says the advisory is put in place due to increased demand and numerous line breaks which put a strain on the water distribution system.
