Wise's Tampa office will shut down, impacting more than 300 employees starting this April, according to a letter.

Wise is furthering its expansion into the Latin American region with the launch of its cross-border payment services in Mexico.

In one of the bureau's final actions under former Director Rohit Chopra's leadership, the CFPB said Wise misled customers in the U.S. about fees and failed to make other required disclosures.
