A team of 100 volunteers at Sue Ryder in Cheltenham collect more than 1,500 old Christmas trees.

A CHARITY Christmas tree collection has hit a remarkable milestone after raising more than £100,000 for a North East hospice.

Christmas tree collections raised more than £27,000 for a Wiltshire children’s hospice. Volunteers, local businesses and supporters took away 1,935 festive firs from homes around Wiltshire and Dorset.

A cancer charity is celebrating the success of its annual campaign to recycle Christmas trees. More than £12,000 has been raised for the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust, which is based in Worcester.
