Microsoft has announced the Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Wave 2 lineup of titles. The announcement on Xbox Wire comes ahead of Microsoft’s Xbox Developer Direct on January 23, where fans will get to see a number of day one Game Pass games,

It’s January and for many of us in the northern hemisphere, that means staying inside to escape the cold. To help you while away the hours, Xbox is adding another dozen-plus titles to Game Pass over the next couple of weeks.

As Microsoft gears up for the latest Developer Direct this Thursday, the company has revealed the latest slate of video games coming to Xbox Game Pass. The 14 titles being added to the service include new releases like Citizen Sleeper 2 and returning games like The Case of the Golden Idol.

While the PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S versions of My Time at Sandrock have been available as part of the Game Pass Ultimate catalog since the summer of 2025, Microsoft made it available to Game Pass Standard subscribers earlier this week. It’s also on PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch.

On January 31, Xbox Game Pass will remove Death's Door and five other titles. Death's Door, a highly-rated indie game, combines Soulslike elements with Zelda-style gameplay. Darkest Dungeon is another well-reviewed game leaving Game Pass in January 2025.

Xbox has announced more games coming to Game Pass this month, including Lonely Mountain: Snow Riders, a new Sniper Elite game, Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap, and Citizen Sleeper 2.
