Parasite' director Bong Joon Ho loves Robert Pattinson so much that he cast him as multiple versions of a sad sack in sci-fi movie "Mickey 17."

Coming off the masterly “Parasite,” Bong Joon Ho’s “Mickey 17” feels uncertain tonally and a little harried in its adaptation.

In Mickey 17, Robert Pattinson’s Mickey Barnes is cloned and recloned as a disposable human guinea pig, and though Bong Joon Ho’s latest isn’t an exact duplicate of his prior sci-fi work, it’s close enough in theme and tone to feel a bit stale.
