On Thursday at 12:49 p.m. the National Weather Service issued an updated winter weather advisory valid from 4 p.m. until Friday 4 p.m. for Oregon Lower Treasure Valley as well as Harney, Baker and Malheur counties.

The combination of cool temperatures and showery weather has meant Willamette Valley snow is possible at lower elevations throughout this week.

The advisory was for Muskegon, Ottawa, Kent, Ionia, Clinton, Allegan, Barry, Eaton, Ingham, Van Buren, Kalamazoo, Calhoun and Jackson counties.
