Sanford officials have announced that the redevelopment of the Seminole Towne Center mall will be the largest project of its kind in Seminole County's history.

The nearest one to Sanford right now is the Altamonte Springs store. Economic development officials with the city say the idea from the soon-to-be new owners, is to make sure that the Seminole Towne Center Mall is revived and can thrive deep into the future, a benefit for the tax base, a benefit for shoppers.
