Wordle is a word puzzle that gives players six chances to guess a five-letter word. Originally created by software engineer Josh Wardle and released to the public in 2021, the puzzle was acquired by The New York Times in 2022 after rising to huge popularity.

Originally a gift for Wardle’s partner, Wordle quickly rose to global fame and was acquired by The New York Times. The puzzle game remains free to play on the NYT Games website and doesn’t require app downloads.

Today’s Wordle answer will be difficult to solve unless players use hints to guide them in the right direction and help them preserve their streak.
