The Chicago Blackhawks big game from Arvid Soderblom and the team's pesky play broke their losing streak in 4-2 win over Montreal Canadiens.
Nick Foligno scored two goals and Arvid Soderblom stopped 38 shots to lift the Chicago Blackhawks to a 4-2 victory against the visiting Montreal Canadiens on Friday.
Tyler Bertuzzi added his team-leading 13th goal and Patrick Maroon connected for the Blackhawks, who rebounded following a 6-2 loss to St. Louis in the Winter Classic on Tuesday.
Montembeault has dropped two of his last four starts, but the 28-year-old has been very solid in recent weeks even when factoring in these two losses -- in which he allowed a total of nine goals across 58 shots faced.
