FOXBORO, Mass. (WKBN) – Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports is reporting that Cleveland Browns quarterbacks coach Ashton Grant is being hired for the same position with the New England Patriots. Grant has been with the Browns since 2020. He joins new Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel who spent the 2024 season as a consultant with Cleveland.

He is passionate about the position and has done a great job of both developing young players and helping veteran players continue to grow. He is familiar with the AFC North and knows what it takes to win in our division.

There will be plenty to like about Tommy Rees as Browns OC, provided he effectively aids Kevin Stefanski in regaining what the head coach does best.
