Firefighters battled a large house fire overnight in northwest Oklahoma City that nearly spread to neighboring homes, officials said.

This comes nearly a week after David Pollard, 47, is accused of shooting and killing his wife, 52-year-old Iona Pollard, at the home on Sunday, Feb. 9.

Deputies say 73-year-old James Creech and a 14-year-old died in the fire Wednesday night on Merrimon Road, north of Beaufort.
