Suns superstar and future Hall-of-Famer Kevin Durant has been with the team since early 2023 and has yet to get past the second round of the playoffs in two attempts with a loaded core. This past trade deadline, Phoenix was fielding calls for him, which suggests the star could, and likely will, be moved this summer, per ESPN's Brian Windhorst.

Kevin Durant and Devin Booker are leading the team. One future first-ballot Hall of Fame forward and a superstar guard in his prime are leading Phoenix's squad to a subpar record. The club has so much money tied up in those two, along with Bradley Beal, that they have no roster-building flexibility.

Stephen Curry didn't take it personally that Kevin Durant had no interest in returning to the Golden State Warriors when they were having discussions with the Phoenix Suns prior to the trade deadline.
