Kings interim coach Doug Christie knows what it feels like to be traded midseason. That’s because it happened to him, in Sacramento, where he spent the majority of his playing career.

Aaron Wiggins erupted for a career-high 41 points to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 144-110 victory over the visiting Kings at Paycom Center. Wiggins, who started with Jalen Williams out due to a wrist injury, easily surpassed his previous career high of 28 points and his season average of 9.3 points per game.

All the rumors turned out to be true as the San Antonio Spurs have acquired star guard De'Aaron Fox from the Sacramento Kings. Fox had been pushing for a deal to get himself to San Antonio and the sides have now agreed to a deal. The Chicago Bulls are also in the deal, having sent two-time All-Star shooting guard Zach LaVine to the Kings.
