The two women and five men were all convicted of gang raping a child and abusing other children under the age of 13 at a Glasgow drugs den.

The victims of one of Scotland's biggest child sex abuse rings were "failed", the SNP government has said. The seven members of the gang were given life-long sentences after three victims under the age of 13 were subjected to sexual abuse and violence in Glasgow over a seven-year period.

Seven members of a child sex abuse ring have been jailed after they preyed on children in a drug den. Each will serve a jail term from eight to 20 years and will be monitored for life, it was heard at Glasgow High Court.
