Federal leaders are launching an investigation into the deadly plane crash that happened late Wednesday night in Washington, D.C. President Donald Trump says his administration is working to get answers and he's suggesting diversity policies may be to blame.

Officials with the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) held their first press conference Thursday afternoon following a deadly collision just outside of Reagan National Airport (DCA) on Wednesday night.

As the National Transportation Safety Board leads the investigation into the deadly mid-air collision of a military helicopter and commercial plane, the Federal Aviation Administration and U.S. Army are also investigating.
