Multiple accidents have been reported in Northwest Arkansas with snowy conditions on the roads. A one-vehicle accident was reported near West Fork on Interstate 49. ARDOT says roadways across Northwest Arkansas and portions of the River Valley are covered in snow.

Wednesday morning, up to eight inches of snow could cover roadways across Washington County, and the county and the city of Fayetteville are getting prepared.

Arkansas state offices will be closing at noon on Tuesday as winter weather enters the state. Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders closed state office building except for critical operations. State employees who are able to work remotely are advised to do so,
