Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan left a hospital in India’s financial capital Mumbai on Tuesday, less than a week after he suffered knife injuries in a scuffle with an intruder at his house, local media reported.

While the investigation currently remains underway with the attacker in custody, a police officer explained how the accused, Shariful Islam Shehzad, "wanted to steal and escape" to Bangladesh with the loot to help his ailing mother.
