KALAMAZOO, MI -- Western Michigan University will be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 22, due to ongoing sub-zero winter temperatures. WMU was also closed on Tuesday, Jan. 21 due to cold temperatures.

For a second day in a row, classes have been canceled at Western Michigan University. Due to severe weather, all WMU campuses will be closed on Wednesday, according to university officials in a notice to students and staff.

Some West Michigan districts have canceled classes for Wednesday even as Arctic blast is expected to begin easing its grip on the region.
