Parts of Kansas were blanketed with another round of snow this week shortly after a previous blizzard hit the state last Sunday. 27 News checked with the National Weather Service (NWS) to learn how much snow fell in different parts of the state on the night of Jan.

The forecast calls for a 20% to 30% chance of snow starting after noon, with the chance increasing up to midnight, the National Weather Service in Wichita said Wednesday.

The snowstorm that began falling on Oklahoma continued into Friday morning, leaving inches of snow as it moved out of the area.

For snow lovers, the snow that was on the ground from Thursday is still there. However, the total accumulation did not increase much overnight.
