The Tennessee Valley could see some of the heaviest snowfall, with 6 inches expected on Friday. Hundreds of flights were canceled in Texas on Thursday as a winter storm barreled down on the Dallas area. The storm brought a slippery mix of sleet and snow with two to five inches of snow forecast to fall in some areas, according to the National Weather Service Fort Worth.
