Thatcher Demko left midway through the first period and did not return after the Canucks goalie stopped all six shots he faced.

Brock Boeser broke a tie on a power play at 8:56 of the third period and the Vancouver Canucks held on to beat the Toronto Maple Leafs 2-1 on Saturday night in the final game for both teams before the 4 Nations Face-Off break.

The Vancouver Canucks wrapped up their pre-4 Nations Face-Off with a 2-1 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs. Filip Hronek had a goal and an assist, while Brock Boeser scored the winner on the power play.
