Stable owner Ashley Holsinger said she and her staff are picking up the pieces after a catastrophic fire destroyed one of the farm’s barns and claimed the lives of four horses.

The Heller Homestead was built by Johan Michael Heller in 1751. It consists of Heller’s stone home, the Widow’s House built in 1850, a root cellar and the remains of 2½-story stone barn.
