With a winter storm moving through the southeastern U.S., even impacting Florida, weather conditions are having an effect on some flights into and out of Tampa International Airport.

With winter weather striking the Southeastern United States on Tuesday and blanketing several states with snow and ice, travel viaplane, train or car has become challenging.

Snow was falling in New Orleans, where as much as 8 inches were expected to accumulate by the end of the day, threatening to tie a record set in 1895.
