LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - It has been a record breaking and well below average week and we will have to contend with one more dangerously cold morning on Friday. After that we begin to warmup significantly, so much so that we could approach the 60s by next week. Quite the change!

Any Alert Days Ahead? Today is a FAWD due to afternoon snow squalls. Aware: 31.9 inches of snow has fallen so far this year. Overall we are slightly behind the seasonal pace for snow. At this point last year we had seen 15.3 inches of snow.

Waking up on Thursday we'll be much quieter weather-wise, but there is another system bringing a quick dash of snow to add onto what we've already seen.
