The Feb. 6 trade deadline is a few weeks away for the Toronto Raptors and they are expected to be in many conversations leading up to it. However, it remains to be seen whether the Raptors are going to be willing to part ways with their pieces.

This is a package the Grizzlies could use to try to upgrade the roster. Clarke and Kennard both have their uses as key reserves for the Grizzlies, but they aren’t essential to what they’re building. Clarke has been good for the Grizzlies this season after recovering from an Achilles injury last year, so he’s not a mere throw-in.

It’s that time of year, folks. The trade deadline is less than a month away, and while there are bigger fish to fry in the NBA — Jimmy Butler and Zach LaVine, to name a few — the Raptors are expected to be at least moderately busy working around the edges.
