Palos Verdes Estates Shoreline Preserve is a rocky beach and bluff top park between Lunada Bay and Bluff Cove that is owned and maintained by the city of Palos Verdes Estates. The grass park follows the uneven bluff edge along Paseo Del Mar.

Palos Verdes Estates Shoreline Preserve The 130-acre Shoreline Preserve extends 4½ miles along the Pacific coast from Malaga Cove to just south of Resort Point. This undeveloped park has numerous trails that wind along the bluff overlooking the ocean.

Abalone Cove Shoreline Park is a coastal treasure on the Palos Verdes Peninsula in the Los Angeles Area. The park contains an ecological preserve and is known for its outstanding tide pools . Trails meander on the bluff out to excellent views from two prominent points.

Shoreline Park is more of a nature reserve than a beach, a great family friendly eco tour along the beautiful Palos Verdes Peninsula shoreline. On 1/14/2012 we walked the bluff top trail (Catalina Trail) from the golf course to Shoreline Park.

Abalone Cove Shoreline Park is a 64-acre reserve containing important natural marine resources and the bottom of the Portuguese Bend landslide area. The reserve features two beaches, tide pools, beautiful bluff-top viewing areas, and paths snaking around the arid terrain.

Sacred Cove Beach is part of Abalone Cove Shoreline Park in the city of Rancho Palos Verdes. This deep cove is bookended by two prominent points, Portuguese Point and Inspiration Point. Both points have trails on top that go out to their ends for excellent views of the Palos Verdes area, Catalina Island, migrating whales, and the adjacent coves.
