Preparing Your Data Management and Sharing Plan - NSF
The two-page data management and sharing plan is a required part of a proposal to the U.S. National Science Foundation. It describes how a proposal will follow NSF policy on managing, disseminating and sharing research results.
Given that most proposed research involves the generation of scientific data, proposals are subject to the NSF Data Sharing Policy and require submission of a Data Management and Sharing Plan. Data should be findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR).
