Dec 13, 2024 · Is there any chance for Avowed to be available on GOG?Considering my previous experience when a patch significantly worsened the respective game (mostly, Pillars of Eternity II and the Blackwood Hull broken into logs to pad the playtime; to less extent, Tyranny and changing Tunon's reactions during the final trial), I would like to have more control over my purchase.

obsidian has arround 300 people which is still smaller than the Team that worked on Baldur's Gate 3 and Obsidian has been working on several games at the same time, especially now with Avowed and Outer Worlds 2 so they have smaller teams working on those games.

Jun 10, 2024 · ngl i dont think it will matter one way or another. hifi rush was a success by all metrics and tango was closed anyway. avowed is already aimed at a fairly limited audience and clashing w asscreed / da4, coming out on gamepass which is bound to eat into the sales, has to fight the expectations of people expecting tes6 from it for w/e reason etc ...

Feb 1, 2024 · It's unlikely we'll see a game with a significantly larger scope from Obsidian (something like BG3 or Starfield in terms of length) come out in the near future. Based off of Linkedin leaks from Obsidian employees, The Outer Worlds 2 also has a similar dev team size to Avowed, meaning there's a chance both of these games will be on the shorter side.
