Here’s an easy, last minute 4th of July dessert that can be thrown together fairly quickly… and with the kids! I used two @simplemills cake mix boxes, but any plain cake recipe will do. For the icing, this is our tried-and-true recipe: mix 2 8 oz packages of cream cheese 1/2 cup maple syrup and 1 Tablespoon vanilla extract. I put sliced strawberries between the layers and then the top can be decorated as you wish! We made a little flag 😉🇺🇸💙 Fun, easy and delicious!! Happy 4th! | Branch Basic
